This is simply a great establishment. Not exactly a great location, but well worth a visit (or two). I would go here a lot if I lived in the area. The draft selection is superb, best in Louisiana, the service good, and food good also (we had a nice appetizer). The atmosphere is cozy, with lots of dark wood, much better than you'd expect for its strip mall location. It's right off of Hwy 10, so if you have a car it's a perfect stop going in or out of the city. If you don't have a car, forget it. Good place to hole up and wait for the rush hour traffic to ebb. Happy hour knocks a dollar off the regular price. We had a Rogue Brutal Bitter, Warsteiner Dunkel, Chimay White, and Unibroue Maudite on tap while we were there. If you can't find something you like to drink here, you don't like beer.

Incredible selection of beer. If they had any more taps they would have to put them on the celing or something. European, domestic microbrews, everything. I wish they wouldn't waste taps on Bud and Miller; put something good there instead!

The selection of beers was huge. They have 75 beers on tap and about 125 in bottles. I was able to taste whatever beer I wanted on tap because Rusty the bartender gave me these little taster cups. The place was cool and laid back, not franchise-like even though it looks like one. I had a Rouge Mocha Porter. Yum.

When they say great beer selection, they mean it, about 70 on tap and 100 in bottle. Settled on a Spaten Optimator and Hoeegarden Witbier both on tap and fresh. Stumbled on this place by accident driving around on the way back from a swamp tour looking for a place for lunch. Glad we found it.

This is a typical suburban chain beer bar in a typical suburban strip environment. It is in Metairie, not New Orleans, not far from the brewpub Zea's. If you are visiting the area try the brews at Zea's, if you live in Metairie then you could try national brands and imports here. The service was poor for me because the bartender was intend on chatting with a girl and paid no attention to when I wanted to order another beer. That may have been bad luck, but more likely was characteristic of this sort of bar. The address should read Veterans Memorial Hwy, Metairie La.

A good selection of imported and microbrewery beers on tap. Typical suburban location and atmosphere. It was hard to get served, as the bartender, when I visited, was too interested in chatting with a girl to pay any attention to the customers at all. I assume that they are usually more willing to sell their beer, or they wouldn't stay in business.
